Community Dance Photoshoot, Aldershot.
COLLABORATION PROJECT
In February 2024, the famous Wind Tunnels at The Farnborough Air Sciences Trust were the location for a collaboration between music/live portrait photographer, Rob Blackham and choreographer, Luke Brown, with dancers from Orb Youth Dance Company, alongside Britain’s Got Talent Semi-Finalist, Felix Clements.
The brief was to create a series of photos showcasing dance in an unconventional space, against the backdrop of a unique and iconic local setting.
To compliment the professional photoshoot in Farnborough, this project will offer the opportunity for photography students to photograph local dancers/groups in an outdoor setting around Aldershot.
The opportunity will give dancers photos for their portfolios and social media and an opportunity for the photography students to develop their photographic and directing skills in a ‘live’ photoshoot setting.
